Wedding photography is like no other photography and I love shooting them. It is a full day of incredible moments, a day that will never come again for the couple, and a day full of emotions. This is one of very few events where you can go up to anyone with your camera and take a photo, and they happily let you. Everyone is dressed up, makeup is done, and people are happy.I see it as such a privilege to be allowed to share this day with the couple and their family and friends. To be the one to capture all these moments, to capture all the smiles and all the tears, to create something for the couple that they will cherish for the rest of their life, this is truly an honor. Our approach to a wedding day is to be professional, with a personal touch. For a wedding day you will be in contact with multiple vendors for anything from chairs to flowers to food and music. A lot of these vendors can do their job with very little knowledge of you and your family. This is not the case for us. The more we know about you the better we will be able to do our job. And with this knowledge comes insight to what moments are most important to you.
Throughout a full wedding day we could be in situations where we have perfect light, bad light, or no light at all. With my experience I will use what we have to make the best photos possible. If the existing light might not be what we desire, we will be able to add anything from simple diffusers and reflectors to off cameraflashes and even studio lighting if needed.
We would encourage you to also do an engagement session with us before your wedding day (depending on your wedding package this might be included). This is a chance for us to get to know each other before the big day which helps tremendously!
We are located in Charleston but we travel all over for weddings so if you have a destination wedding outside South Carolina we may still be able to help you.
So please contact us and let us help you make your day perfect. Let us give you something to remember it by for years and years to come.
